Microsoft recently revealed quite a few specs for the Xbox collection X, confirming that the long-rumoured 12 teraflops of GPU functionality it owns. Also, it revealed that it might suspend numerous matches and start them with no difficulties. But this feature appears to function even after the games console is rebooted.
“I needed to reboot since I had a method upgrade, then I moved back into the match and went directly back into it. Therefore it survives a reboot.”
The feature will work even when you’re restarting the console from standby. It is unlikely to have much effect on always-online titles because they take a continuous server link and will frequently quit whether that’s severed. However, the convenience of simply pausing and shifting off the console instead of stressing about rescue things is fine.
Microsoft will soon be current at GDC 2020 following month using a panel on this appears to talk about committed hardware-accelerated sound. Stay tuned for additional information in the forthcoming weeks.
